Atalanta - Frosinone

Sunday afternoon at the New Balance Arena, Atalanta host Frosinone for a matchday 8 Serie A encounter. The hosts enter the fixture looking to recover from a challenging week that saw them fall to AC Milan in the league and Ajax in European competition. Atalanta will have to navigate this match with a depleted defensive unit, as Giorgio Scalvini, Odilon Kossounou, and Sead Kolasinac are all sidelined through injury, alongside midfielder Franck Kessie. The expected XI, featuring Nikola Krstovic and Charles De Ketelaere, must find their rhythm quickly to overcome a persistent opposition.

Frosinone arrive with momentum following a 4-2 victory over Sassuolo in their most recent league outing. While they struggled against Napoli earlier in October, their ability to score has been a feature of their recent form. With Antonio Raimondo leading the expected line, the visitors will aim to exploit the gaps in an Atalanta side currently managing significant personnel absences.
