Atalanta - Pafos FC

Atalanta host Pafos FC on 15 October 2026 at New Balance Arena, marking the start of their Conference League group stage journey. The Italian side enters the match looking to build on their recent 3-1 victory over Venezia in Serie A, a result that provided a necessary boost after a challenging run of domestic league fixtures. Atalanta navigated the qualification rounds with a narrow aggregate win over Hapoel Tel Aviv, demonstrating a defensive resilience that will be tested as they shift their focus to this opening European challenge.

Pafos FC arrive in high spirits following a clinical 3-1 win against Anorthosis in the Cyprus League. Their path to this stage was far from straightforward, requiring extra time to overcome FC Dinamo City in a high-scoring qualification tie. With a recent record that includes consistent scoring across both domestic and European fixtures, the visitors will look to exploit any gaps in the Atalanta structure during this opening contest.
