AZ Alkmaar - Juventus

Juventus arrive at AFAS Stadion on 5 November 2026 for their Europa League matchday 4 clash facing a significant personnel crisis. With key figures including Nico Gonzalez and Chico Conceicao sidelined through injury, the visitors must rely on their remaining core to maintain momentum following a recent 2-0 Serie A victory over Napoli. The expected XI, anchored by the midfield presence of Teun Koopmeiners and Douglas Luiz, will look to impose their tactical discipline on a side aiming to regain their European footing.

AZ Alkmaar host this fixture seeking a response after a difficult run in the Eredivisie, where they fell to consecutive defeats against Ajax and FC Twente. Despite these domestic struggles, their continental form remains a bright spot, highlighted by a commanding 4-0 win over Ararat Armenia last month. With Jari De Busser expected to start in goal, the hosts will look to leverage their home advantage to disrupt the rhythm of the Italian visitors.
