Benevento - LR Vicenza

Can Benevento sustain their recent surge as they welcome LR Vicenza to Stadio Ciro Vigorito on 17 October 2026 for this Serie B matchday 7 clash? The hosts are expected to field a forward-thinking setup, with Francesco Paolo Salvemini and David Okereke leading the line behind a balanced midfield trio of Christian Kouan, Antonis Siatounis, and Mattia Maita. Defensively, the side will rely on the experience of Pietro Beruatto and Stefano Scognamillo to protect Gianmarco Vannucchi as they look to dictate the tempo on home soil.

In contrast, LR Vicenza arrive seeking a vital response after a difficult run of results, including a recent defeat to Pisa. Their expected XI features Filippo Alessio and Silvio Merkaj tasked with finding a breakthrough against a confident home defence. With a history of high-scoring encounters between these two, including a 4-1 win for Benevento in May, the visitors face a stiff challenge to disrupt the rhythm of their opponents.
