Bodoe/Glimt - Vaalerenga

Saturday, 24 October 2026, marks matchday 12 of the Eliteserien as Bodoe/Glimt welcome Vaalerenga to Aspmyra Stadion. The hosts enter this encounter following a demanding period of European fixtures, having recently faced SSC Napoli and Borussia Dortmund. Despite a narrow defeat in Italy, their domestic form remains robust, highlighted by a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory over Hamarkameratene. The expected XI for the home side features Nikita Haikin in goal, with Patrick Berg anchoring the midfield, aiming to maintain the momentum that has defined their recent league campaign.

Vaalerenga arrive looking to build on a morale-boosting 3-1 win against Brann. Their recent path has been varied, showing both defensive vulnerabilities and significant attacking output, such as their 4-1 cup victory over Skeid. The visitors will be without the suspended Haakon Sjaatil, forcing a tactical adjustment for the expected starting lineup. With the sides last meeting in August, where Bodoe/Glimt secured a 2-1 win, this contest promises a tactical test of resilience against the home side's high-pressing style.
