Boston United - Scunthorpe

Saturday at Jakemans Community Stadium, Boston United host Scunthorpe United for matchday 16 of the National League. The two sides are well-acquainted, having met as recently as 17 October 2026 in an FA Cup Qualification tie where Scunthorpe United secured a 3-1 victory. Both teams are looking to establish consistency as they navigate a challenging period in their respective campaigns.

Boston United head into this fixture following a 2-1 win over Gateshead FC, providing a necessary boost after a difficult run that included a heavy defeat against Yeovil Town. Conversely, Scunthorpe United arrive looking to bounce back from a 4-1 loss to Tamworth. With both clubs aiming to climb the table, this encounter serves as a pivotal opportunity to address recent defensive vulnerabilities and regain momentum in the league.
