Burton - Bradford

Burton Albion look to regain their momentum as they host Bradford City at Pirelli Stadium on 20 October 2026 for matchday 12 of the League One campaign. The hosts arrive following a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Peterborough United, a result that highlights their ongoing struggle for consistency after a difficult run in early October. Having secured a victory against Plymouth Argyle in late September, Burton will be eager to rediscover that clinical edge as they face a side they successfully navigated in their most recent league meetings, including a 2-1 victory in March 2026.

Bradford City travel to the Pirelli Stadium in buoyant mood, fresh off a commanding 2-0 win over Stevenage. Their recent form has been impressive, defined by a solid defensive foundation and a clinical attacking display in their 4-0 EFL Trophy win against Rotherham United earlier this month. While Burton will look to disrupt this rhythm, Bradford’s ability to grind out results on the road suggests a difficult test for the home side. Both teams will be aiming to assert control early in this pivotal league encounter.
