Cambridge U - Plymouth

Saturday at Abbey Stadium, Cambridge United and Plymouth Argyle meet for their League One matchday 13 encounter. The hosts enter this fixture in a stable position, buoyed by a recent victory over Barnsley and a hard-fought draw against Wycombe Wanderers. Their steady accumulation of points has kept them competitive, and they will look to maintain that momentum against a side currently searching for a reset.

Plymouth Argyle arrive at Abbey Stadium following a challenging week, having suffered consecutive defeats against Stevenage and Huddersfield Town. This dip in form contrasts with their earlier successes, including a notable victory over Blackpool. With the visitors eager to rectify their recent defensive struggles, the match promises to be a test of character. The last time these two sides faced each other in League One, Plymouth Argyle secured a 3-1 win on 22 April 2023.
