Club Brugge - Anderlecht
Club Brugge and Anderlecht meet at Jan Breydel Stadion
Sunday afternoon at the Jan Breydel Stadion, Club Brugge host Anderlecht for matchday 11 of the Belgian Pro League. The hosts enter this encounter in excellent form, having recently secured a 2-1 victory over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, adding to a consistent run of domestic success. Club Brugge are expected to field a strong XI, with Nicolo Tresoldi and Jan Virgili leading the attack supported by the experienced Hans Vanaken in midfield.
Anderlecht arrive looking to build on their 2-0 European win against Salzburg, though they must navigate this challenge without the injured Thelo Aasgaard. While the visitors recently overcame Westerlo 4-1, they have shown inconsistency on their travels, including a heavy defeat at Gent. With Giulian Biancone and Leo Petrot anchoring the defence, Anderlecht will aim to disrupt the rhythm of a Club Brugge side that has been prolific in recent weeks.
