Eibar - Almeria

Eibar face a critical test of their resolve as they attempt to recover from a difficult run of form that has seen them drop points in three consecutive outings. The hosts welcome Almeria to Municipal de Ipurua for this matchday 12 encounter on 31 October 2026, hoping to rediscover the defensive stability that defined their earlier successes this season. With Anaitz Arbilla, Unai Elgezabal, and Juan Bernat all sidelined through injury, the expected XI led by Jonmi Magunagoitia will need to be at their absolute best to contain a visiting side brimming with confidence.

Almeria arrive in excellent spirits, bolstered by a productive spell that includes a recent cup victory over Castellonense and a solid league draw against Real Oviedo. While Daijiro Chirino and Mikel Vesga remain unavailable, the visitors possess significant attacking depth in the expected lineup featuring Sergio Arribas and Adrian Embarba. History remains tight between these two, with Eibar claiming a 1-0 win in their most recent league meeting back in January 2026.
