FC Dallas - San Jose Earthquakes
FC Dallas and San Jose Earthquakes meet at Toyota Stadium
Can FC Dallas translate their recent defensive resilience into a win as they host San Jose Earthquakes on 25 October 2026 for matchday 31? The expected XI for Dallas features Petar Musa and Daniel Job leading the attack, supported by a midfield anchored by Patrickson Delgado and Christian Cappis. They face a difficult challenge in balancing their tactical shape, especially with Logan Farrington sidelined. The visitors arrive with a side built around Timo Werner and Preston Judd, though they will be missing Niko Tsakiris and Benjamin Kikanovic due to injury.
San Jose has proven difficult to beat lately, evidenced by a string of draws against Nashville SC, Real Salt Lake, and Colorado Rapids. Dallas, meanwhile, has shown a more volatile form, following a 2-2 draw against Houston Dynamo FC with a narrow 1-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC. With both sides looking to solidify their standing, this contest at Toyota Stadium will likely hinge on which team can better manage the transition phases.
