FC Copenhagen - Braga

FC Koebenhavn and Braga meet at Parken on 15 October 2026 for their opening matchday 1 fixture of the Conference League. The hosts arrive following a mixed domestic run, having recently secured a dominant 5-0 victory over OB before suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat against FC Midtjylland. Their path to this stage included a commanding 4-1 win over FC Inter Turku in the qualification rounds, demonstrating their ability to find the net consistently in European competition.

Braga enter this clash after a challenging period in the Liga Portugal, highlighted by a recent 3-1 loss to Sporting CP. Their European journey saw them navigate a resilient qualification phase, most notably overcoming Austria Wien with a 2-0 aggregate victory. As both sides look to establish early momentum in the group, the tactical battle at Parken will determine which team successfully transitions their domestic form onto the continental stage.
