Ferencvaros - Viktoria Plzen

Adam Bagi leads the line for Ferencvaros as they prepare to host Viktoria Plzen at Groupama Arena on 15 October 2026 for matchday 2 of the Europa League. The Hungarian side enters this contest following a run of draws in domestic competition, though they remain buoyed by a clinical 3-1 victory over Celtic in their previous European outing. With an expected XI anchored by the defensive trio of Toon Raemaekers, Mariano Gomez, and Oliver Nagy, Ferencvaros will look to maintain their disciplined shape against a visiting side looking to bounce back from a difficult start to their own continental campaign.

Viktoria Plzen arrives in Budapest seeking a response after their recent 3-0 defeat to Union St. Gilloise. While their domestic form has shown flashes of quality, including a recent 3-0 win over Mlada Boleslav, the visitors must tighten their defensive structure to compete at this level. Prince Adu is expected to spearhead the attack, supported by a busy midfield featuring Patrik Hrosovsky. Having faced each other multiple times in recent seasons, both teams are familiar with the tactical demands of this fixture as they fight for crucial points in the group stage.
