Fleetwood - Rotherham

Saturday afternoon at Highbury Stadium, Fleetwood, Fleetwood Town and Rotherham United meet for a League Two clash as part of matchday 11. The two sides last faced each other in competitive action during an EFL Cup tie on 27 August 2024, where Fleetwood Town secured a 2-1 victory. Both teams are looking to establish consistency as the league campaign moves into its second month, with the hosts aiming to leverage their home advantage to climb the table.

Fleetwood Town enter the fixture following a 1-1 draw with Walsall, showing a mixed run of results that includes a notable 4-1 win over Barnsley in the EFL Trophy. Conversely, Rotherham United arrive in Lancashire enduring a difficult spell, highlighted by a heavy 1-4 defeat to Gillingham in their most recent league outing. With both clubs seeking to stabilize their form, the outcome will likely hinge on which side can better manage defensive lapses.
