Girona - Almeria

Sunday afternoon at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi, Girona host Almeria for matchday 13 of the LaLiga2 season. The hosts enter this encounter looking to bounce back from a narrow defeat against Real Sociedad B, having previously enjoyed a productive run that included a commanding 5-1 victory over Celta Fortuna. Girona must navigate this fixture without David Lopez, who is suspended, while Javier Bonar and Bryan Gil remain sidelined through injury. The expected XI, featuring Carles Perez and Vladyslav Vanat, will aim to reassert their dominance on home soil.

Almeria arrive in strong form, remaining unbeaten in their last ten competitive matches across all competitions. Their recent consistency, highlighted by a 3-0 win against Leganes and a 4-2 success away at Real Sociedad B, has kept them in a confident mood. With Daijiro Chirino unavailable, Almeria will rely on the attacking threat of Miguel de la Fuente and Sergio Arribas to test the Girona backline in what promises to be a tightly contested tactical battle.
