Inter Miami CF - New York City FC

Inter Miami CF and New York City FC meet at Nu Stadium on 14 October 2026 for matchday 29 of the Major League Soccer season. Inter Miami CF enters the contest following a dominant 4-0 victory over DC United, a result that provides a boost after a mixed sequence of league performances earlier in September. In contrast, New York City FC arrives in search of a revival after a difficult run, most recently suffering a 2-1 defeat against Chicago Fire FC. The visitors have struggled to find consistency in recent weeks, managing only one victory in their last nine league outings.

The two sides last met on 22 March 2026, when Inter Miami CF secured a narrow 3-2 win. With Yannick Bright and Facundo Mura sidelined for the hosts and Keaton Parks unavailable for the visitors, the expected XIs will feature key attacking threats like Luis Suarez and Alonso Martinez. As the final stretch of the season approaches, the question remains whether New York City FC can disrupt the momentum of a home side looking to cement their standing.
