Kosovo - Austria

Kosovo host Austria on 4 October 2026 at Fadil Vokrri Stadium for matchday 4 of the UEFA Nations League B Group 3. Trailing 3-1 on aggregate following their defeat in the first leg on 27 September 2026, the hosts face a significant challenge to overturn the deficit. Kosovo enter this fixture following a goalless draw against Israel, but they will have to navigate this crucial encounter without the services of injured key players Vedat Muriqi, Florent Muslija, and Kreshnik Hajrizi.

Austria arrive as the side in control, buoyed by their recent 3-1 victory over their opponents and a 2-2 draw against Ireland. The expected XI for Austria features a strong midfield core including Xaver Schlager and Nicolas Seiwald, designed to stifle the hosts' attacking intent. With Kosovo needing to find a breakthrough to stay in contention, the tactical battle between their forward line of Albion Rrahmani and Fisnik Asllani and the disciplined Austrian defense will likely prove decisive.
