Lecce - Genoa
Last updated: Today, at Lecce look to reset against in-form Genoa
Sunday evening at Stadio Ettore Giardiniero - Via del Mare, Lecce host Genoa for matchday 10 of the Serie A season. The home side enters this contest looking to recover from a difficult run of results, most recently suffering a heavy defeat against Frosinone. With several key players unavailable due to injury and suspension, including Lassana Coulibaly and Kialonda Gaspar, the expected XI will need to show significant resilience to contain their visitors.
Genoa arrive in a much stronger position, buoyed by recent victories over Juventus and Venezia. Their defensive discipline has been a hallmark of this recent revival, providing a solid platform for the midfield creativity of Stephan El Shaarawy and Tommaso Baldanzi. While Lecce secured a narrow 1-0 win in their most recent meeting on 24 May 2026, the current form suggests a challenging evening for the hosts as they attempt to halt Genoa's momentum.
