Lech Poznan - Sunderland

Thursday evening at Stadion Poznan, Lech Poznan and Sunderland meet for a pivotal Europa League matchday 3 encounter. The hosts arrive looking to stabilise their continental campaign following a difficult defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, though their domestic form remains potent after a recent six-goal haul against Korona Kielce. For the visitors, the trip to Poland offers a chance to build on their narrow victory over Torreense in their last European outing, despite a challenging run of results in the Premier League.

The expected XI for Lech Poznan features Mikael Ishak leading the line, while Sunderland look to Chris Rigg and Malick Fofana to provide attacking impetus. Both sides are managing significant personnel concerns, with Wojciech Monka and Allahyar Sayyadmanesh sidelined for the hosts, while Sunderland must navigate the absences of Thomas Meunier, Daniel Ballard, and Wilson Isidor.
