Lens - Paris FC

Can Lens balance their demanding European commitments with the domestic consistency required to climb the Ligue 1 table? The hosts welcome Paris FC to Stade Bollaert-Delelis on 24 October 2026 for this matchday 8 encounter. Lens enter the contest following a difficult Champions League outing, though their recent league form remains productive, highlighted by a 3-1 victory over Troyes. The expected XI features an attacking trio of Odsonne Edouard, Florian Sotoca, and Florian Thauvin, though they will be without the injured Pierre Ganiou and Abdallah Sima for this fixture.

Paris FC arrive with confidence after a thrilling 4-3 win against Rennes, showcasing the creative influence of Ilan Kebbal and Pierre Lees-Melou in midfield. With Kevin Trapp anchoring the defense, the visitors will look to exploit any fatigue in the Lens ranks. Having suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat in their most recent league meeting on 14 February 2026, Paris FC will be eager to prove their progress.
