FC Lugano - FK Kauno Zalgiris

Lugano arrive at this matchday 3 clash in the Conference League riding a wave of prolific attacking form that has seen them dismantle opponents across multiple competitions. The hosts will take to the pitch at AIL Arena on 5 November 2026 aiming to maintain their perfect start in the group stage, having recently put five past Getafe and three past FK Crvena Zvezda. Their domestic rhythm is equally impressive, with a narrow victory over Basel last weekend keeping the momentum firmly in their favor as they prepare for this European assignment.

FK Kauno Zalgiris face a formidable test as they look to recover from heavy setbacks against Brann and Brighton & Hove Albion in this competition. While the visitors have shown defensive resilience in the A Lyga, notably in their recent win against Hegelmann, the step up to European intensity has proven difficult. They will need to tighten their structure significantly to withstand a Lugano side currently playing with immense confidence in the final third.
