Marseille - Le Havre

Marseille aim to regain their domestic momentum as they return to the Stade Orange Velodrome on 25 October 2026 for this Ligue 1 matchday 8 encounter. The hosts arrive following a challenging European trip, though their recent league form remains bolstered by a high-scoring 5-2 victory over Angers. With Amine Gouiri expected to lead the line, Marseille will look to exploit their historical dominance in this fixture, having secured a 1-0 win when the sides last met in May.

Le Havre face a difficult task as they seek to arrest a slide that has seen them suffer three consecutive league defeats. The visitors are hampered by the absences of Elias Jelert, Lionel Mpasi-Nzau, and Timothee Pembele, forcing a reshuffle in their expected XI. With Josh Maja and Sota Nakamura tasked with finding a breakthrough, Le Havre must tighten a defense that has struggled to contain opponents in recent weeks.
