Mjaellby - Inter Club d'Escaldes

Mjaellby enter the Conference League matchday 1 at Strandvallen seeking a resurgence after a difficult period in their domestic schedule. The hosts have struggled to find their rhythm recently, evidenced by a 1-1 draw against Degerfors and a narrow defeat to FC Trollhaettan. Their recent run has been marked by defensive instability, as they look to rediscover the cohesion that defined their earlier efforts. With the European stage now beckoning on 15 October 2026, the side will be eager to leverage their home advantage to reset their momentum and secure a positive start in this group.

Inter Club d'Escaldes arrive in Sweden carrying significant confidence from their domestic form, highlighted by a dominant 4-0 victory over FC Ordino. Their path to this stage was defined by resilience, notably in their Conference League qualification tie against Drita, where they held their nerve to progress on penalties. The visitors have demonstrated a clinical edge in their recent outings, and their ability to navigate high-pressure knockout moments suggests they will be a formidable opponent. This encounter at Strandvallen presents an opportunity for them to test their tactical discipline against a side looking to overcome a challenging run of results.
