NEC Nijmegen - Levski Sofia

NEC Nijmegen arrive at this matchday 2 encounter seeking to stabilise their European campaign following a difficult opening defeat against Juventus. Their recent domestic form has been marked by a series of draws, including a resilient performance against Ajax, as they look to integrate a midfield featuring Bryan Linssen and Dusan Tadic. The home side faces a significant defensive challenge with Bram Nuytinck sidelined through injury, placing extra responsibility on the expected back line of Tobias Storm, Perr Schuurs, and Gabriel Bras to provide stability at Stadion De Goffert.

Levski Sofia travel to the Netherlands looking to build on a solid recent win against Cherno More Varna. After narrowly falling to Salzburg in their opening Europa League fixture, the visitors will look to the attacking threat of Armstrong Oko-Flex to unsettle the hosts. With both sides aiming to secure their first points of the group phase, the tactical battle between the expected formations will define this contest.
