Nice - Rennes

Nice host Rennes at Allianz Riviera on 30 October 2026 for this Ligue 1 matchday 9 encounter. The home side enters the fixture looking to build on their recent 2-1 victory over Brest, relying on an expected attacking trio of Elye Wahi, Mohamed Amoura, and Gauthier Hein to test the visitors. Defensively, Nice will look to maintain stability through the central pairing of Mohamed Abdelmonem and Alidu Seidu, supported by the experienced Axel Witsel in the midfield engine room.

Rennes arrive with momentum after a convincing 3-0 win against Strasbourg, though they must navigate this challenge without the injured Esteban Lepaul. With Brice Samba expected to start in goal, the visitors will look to counter-attack through Mousa Tamari and Boulaye Dia. Having suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat in their most recent meeting in March, Rennes will be eager to prove their resilience in this latest test.
