North Macedonia - Scotland

North Macedonia host Scotland at the Todor Proeski Arena on 3 October 2026 for matchday 3 of the UEFA Nations League B Group 1. The hosts enter this encounter looking to stabilize their defensive structure, with Stole Dimitrievski expected to lead a backline featuring Din Alomerovic and Mario Mladenovski. Eljif Elmas remains the focal point in midfield, tasked with feeding forward Azer Omeragikj to break a scoring drought that saw them go scoreless in losses to Switzerland and Slovenia.

Scotland face significant selection challenges, as injuries to Che Adams, Lawrence Shankland, and Scott McTominay, alongside the suspension of Jack Hendry, force a reshuffle. Managerial focus will turn to John McGinn and Billy Gilmour to dictate play against a side they last met in 2013. Coming off a 0-3 defeat to Switzerland and a goalless draw with Slovenia, the visitors will look to Andrew Robertson and Kieron Bowie to provide the necessary spark to ignite their campaign.
