Nottingham Forest - Manchester City

Nottingham Forest face a daunting challenge as they host Manchester City at City Ground, Nottingham, on 7 November 2026 for matchday 10 of the Premier League. The home side enters this contest looking to sharpen their attacking edge, with Liam Delap and Dan Ndoye expected to lead the line against a formidable defensive setup. Supporting them, Morgan Gibbs-White and James McAtee will be tasked with controlling the midfield tempo against an opponent known for high-intensity possession. The visitors are expected to field Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, whose movement will test the defensive resolve of Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic in what promises to be a rigorous tactical examination for the hosts.

Forest are navigating a difficult run, having failed to score in their most recent outing against Brentford. In contrast, Manchester City arrive following a narrow victory over RB Leipzig in the Champions League, despite a recent league wobble against Brighton & Hove Albion. Their last Premier League encounter in March 2026 ended in a 2-2 draw, highlighting the competitive nature of this fixture. With City looking to regain domestic consistency, the battle between their creative midfield and Forest's disciplined defensive block will likely dictate the outcome of this encounter.
