Oldham - Cheltenham

Oldham Athletic host Cheltenham Town on 17 October 2026 for matchday 11 of the League Two season, with both sides looking to find consistency. Oldham enter the fixture following a goalless draw against Accrington Stanley, a result that offered some defensive stability after a difficult run that included a heavy loss to Salford City. Meanwhile, Cheltenham Town arrive at Boundary Park aiming to recover from a challenging spell, having suffered back-to-back league defeats against Salford City and Accrington Stanley without finding the back of the net.

History suggests a competitive encounter, as the two clubs have traded victories in recent years. Oldham enjoyed success in their most recent meeting on 17 January 2026, securing a 2-1 win in League Two. As both teams navigate the early stages of the campaign, the focus shifts to whether the hosts can build on their recent cup victory or if the visitors will rediscover their attacking form.
