PEC Zwolle - Go Ahead Eagles

PEC Zwolle enter this matchday 9 encounter at the MAC3PARK Stadion looking to arrest a difficult run of form. Their recent outings have proven challenging, highlighted by a heavy defeat to Feyenoord and a narrow loss against Cambuur on 11 October 2026. In contrast, Go Ahead Eagles arrive following a series of high-scoring draws, including a 3-3 result against Sparta Rotterdam on 10 October 2026. While they have struggled to secure victories, their ability to share the points in competitive fixtures has defined their recent Eredivisie campaign.

The two sides now collide in a fixture that has historically favoured the visitors. Go Ahead Eagles dominated their most recent meeting on 5 April 2026, securing a 5-0 victory. For this match, PEC Zwolle are expected to field an XI featuring Koen Kostons and Ibrahim Cissoko, while Go Ahead Eagles look to Stefan Ingi Sigurdarson to lead their attack. Whether the hosts can find a defensive solution to turn their season around remains the central question.
