Rayo Vallecano - Elche

Alexandre Zurawski remains the focal point for Rayo Vallecano as they prepare to host Elche on 24 October 2026 at Campo de Futbol de Vallecas. The forward will need to lead an attacking unit that faces significant disruption, with Pathe Ciss sidelined through suspension alongside injury absences for Andrei Ratiu, Jorge de Frutos, and Augusto Batalla. Rayo have shown resilience in recent weeks, securing a 1-1 draw against Getafe and a victory over Espanyol, though they will be eager to sharpen their defensive focus after a challenging start to the campaign.

Elche arrive at the venue looking to build on a pair of recent goalless stalemates against Villarreal and Celta Vigo. While their scoring form has been inconsistent, they demonstrated their potential by defeating Espanyol 3-1 in September. With Marc Aguado missing, the midfield battle involving Thomas Lemar and Federico Redondo will be critical in deciding the tempo of this matchday 10 encounter.
