Real Madrid - RB Leipzig

Real Madrid arrive at this matchday 3 Champions League clash in strong form, having secured a 4-1 victory over Sevilla and a narrow 4-3 win against Roma in their most recent European outing. Their attacking rhythm has been consistent, with Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior expected to lead the line at Estadio Bernabeu. Conversely, RB Leipzig look to regain their composure after a difficult 6-1 defeat to Bayern Munich. Despite that setback, their European campaign remains competitive following a 1-0 win over PSV Eindhoven, and they will look to Christopher Nkunku and Romulo Cruz to test the hosts.

The sides last met in the Champions League during the 2024 season, where a 1-0 win for Real Madrid preceded a 1-1 draw. As they collide again, the question remains whether the visitors can disrupt the momentum of a Real Madrid side that has found the net frequently in recent weeks.
