Rennes - OFI Crete

Mousa Tamari enters this Europa League matchday 2 fixture in clinical form, having spearheaded a dominant 4-1 victory for Rennes over Auxerre on 11 October 2026. The expected XI for the hosts balances the creative midfield presence of Ludovic Blas and Sebastian Szymanski with the defensive stability of Anthony Rouault. After a goalless draw against Sturm Graz in their opening European outing, Rennes will look to leverage their recent domestic momentum and home advantage at Roazhon Park to secure their first victory of the group stage.

OFI Crete arrive seeking a response following a difficult 3-0 defeat against AEK Athens. Their European campaign began on a brighter note with a 2-0 win over Hoffenheim, showcasing the threat posed by forward duo Kenan Kodro and Taxiarchis Fountas. With Andreas Bouchalakis anchoring the midfield, the visitors will aim to disrupt the rhythm of their hosts. This contest promises a tactical battle as both sides seek to establish control early in the group.
