Sabah FK - Slavia Prague

Can Sabah FK recover from a difficult start to their Champions League campaign when they face Slavia Prague on 13 October 2026 at Baku Olimpiya Stadionu? The two sides meet in this matchday 2 encounter with contrasting momentum. Sabah FK is expected to rely on the creativity of Christian Nwachukwu and Veljko Simic in midfield to support Joy-Lance Mickels up front, aiming to bounce back from a heavy defeat to Manchester United. Defensively, the side will look to Tymoteusz Puchacz and Akim Zedadka to provide the stability missing in their recent European outing.

Slavia Prague arrives at the neutral venue in strong form, having secured a narrow victory over FC Zlin in their most recent league fixture. Despite the absences of Stepan Chaloupek and Mikulas Konecny, the expected XI features a robust defensive line including Tomas Holes and David Zima. With Mojmir Chytil leading the attack, Slavia Prague will look to build on their domestic momentum and secure their first points of the competition.
