San Diego FC - Seattle Sounders FC

Cedric Bakambu remains the focal point for San Diego FC as they prepare to host Seattle Sounders FC at Snapdragon Stadium on 25 October 2026 for matchday 31 of the Major League Soccer season. Bakambu is expected to lead the attack in a side that has shown a penchant for high-scoring affairs recently, evidenced by their 2-2 draw with LA Galaxy on 18 October 2026 and a 3-3 stalemate against Houston Dynamo FC just days prior. While their defensive stability has fluctuated, the creative presence of Elias Achouri and Gabriel Pirani in midfield will be essential to breaking down a disciplined visiting setup.

Seattle Sounders FC arrive looking to regain momentum after a 1-1 draw with CF Montreal. Despite the absence of the injured Paul Rothrock, the visitors will rely on the attacking partnership of Dejan Joveljic and Jordan Morris. Having secured a 3-0 victory over New England Revolution earlier in October, Seattle demonstrates a clear capacity for clinical finishing. With the head-to-head record showing a competitive history, including a 1-1 draw on 10 May 2026, this encounter at Snapdragon Stadium promises a tactical battle between San Diego's offensive ambition and Seattle's structured approach.
