Sarpsborg 08 - Aalesund

Sarpsborg 08 and Aalesund meet at Sarpsborg Stadion on 25 October 2026 for matchday 12 of the Eliteserien. The hosts enter this second leg of their two-legged tie looking to build on their momentum, despite a recent 3-0 league defeat to Rosenborg. Conversely, Aalesund arrive in high spirits after a convincing 4-1 league victory over Kristiansund BK, a result that highlights their attacking threat as they attempt to recover from their previous setback.

This encounter follows the first leg held on 11 October 2026, where Sarpsborg 08 secured a 4-2 win, establishing a two-goal aggregate lead. The expected XI for Sarpsborg 08 features Daniel Seland Karlsbakk and Noa Williams in attack, while Aalesund are set to rely on Marcus Haagensen Reed and Isak Gabriel Skotheim to bridge the deficit. With the tie finely balanced, the visitors must find a way to break down the home defense to keep their hopes alive.
