Seattle Sounders FC - CF Montreal

Seattle Sounders FC aim to shake off a midweek setback as they return to Lumen Field on 18 October 2026 for a Major League Soccer matchday 30 clash against CF Montreal. The hosts, who suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at FC Dallas on 15 October 2026, will look to rediscover the attacking rhythm that saw them net three goals against New England Revolution earlier this month. The expected XI, led by Dejan Joveljic and Albert Rusnak, faces a Montreal side currently searching for stability after a difficult run of results.

CF Montreal arrive in Seattle following a disappointing 3-0 home loss to Atlanta United. Their recent form has been inconsistent, marked by a heavy defeat to Inter Miami CF and a string of losses in league play. With Brayan Ceballos sidelined through injury, the visitors will rely on Daniel Rios and Alexis Sanchez to disrupt a Seattle defense that has been largely resilient throughout the campaign.
