Sirius - Elfsborg

Sunday afternoon at Studenternas IP, Sirius host Elfsborg for this matchday 24 Allsvenskan encounter. The home side enters the fixture in strong form, having secured a narrow 1-0 victory against GAIS on 10 October 2026. Sirius will look to maintain their recent defensive stability, though they must navigate this challenge without Jesper Uneken, who remains sidelined through injury. The expected XI features David Celic in goal, supported by a defensive line including Simon Sandberg and Henrik Castegren.

Elfsborg arrive following a dominant 4-0 win over Halmstads BK on 12 October 2026, marking a continuation of their positive momentum. Their recent record includes a hard-fought 2-1 win against Djurgaarden, highlighting their ability to perform on the road. With Arber Zeneli and Leo Oestman expected to lead the attack, the visitors will aim to reverse their recent head-to-head trend against Sirius, having fallen to a 3-1 defeat in their most recent league meeting on 19 July 2026.
