Sirius - Halmstads BK

Tuesday evening at Studenternas IP, Sirius welcome Halmstads BK for a pivotal matchday 27 encounter in the Allsvenskan. The hosts enter the fixture looking to steady their rhythm after back-to-back league defeats against Hammarby and AIK. Sirius will be forced to adjust their setup, as Mohamed Soumah remains sidelined due to suspension, while Jesper Uneken continues his recovery from injury. The expected XI, anchored by goalkeeper David Celic and a defensive line featuring Tobias Anker and Simon Sandberg, will aim to rediscover the defensive solidity that secured them a victory over GAIS earlier in October.

Halmstads BK arrive seeking a response following a heavy defeat to Malmoe FF. Despite their recent inconsistency, the visitors showed resilience in their narrow victory against Vaesteraas SK just two weeks ago. With Tom Trybull and Joel Allansson expected to anchor the midfield, Halmstads will look to exploit any gaps left by the home side. Sirius have historically enjoyed success in this fixture, including a 2-0 win away from home back on 3 August 2026, and they will hope that familiarity with their home surroundings provides the necessary edge to climb the table.
