Sochaux - Boulogne
Last updated: Today, at Sochaux host Boulogne in Ligue 2 clash at Stade Auguste Bonal
Friday evening at Stade Auguste Bonal, Sochaux welcome Boulogne for matchday 8 of the Ligue 2 season. The two sides meet with contrasting recent trajectories, as Sochaux look to maintain the momentum that saw them secure narrow victories against Nantes and Guingamp during their recent run. Their ability to remain competitive in tight contests has been a hallmark of their campaign, though they will be eager to translate their defensive resilience into more consistent attacking output.
Boulogne arrive looking for a change in fortune after a challenging start to the league campaign. While they have proven difficult to break down, evidenced by a string of draws against the likes of Montpellier and Red Star, they have struggled to find the clinical edge required to secure maximum points. Having last faced Sochaux in the National division on 2 May 2025, where they fell to a 3-2 defeat, the visitors will be keen to tighten their defensive structure.
