Sporting CP - Moreirense
Last updated: Today, at Sporting CP host Moreirense in Liga Portugal clash
Saturday, 7 November 2026, marks matchday 11 of the Liga Portugal as Sporting CP welcome Moreirense to Estadio Jose Alvalade. The hosts enter the contest following a productive week, having secured a narrow victory against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League and a clean sheet win over Casa Pia AC in the league. Sporting CP will look to maintain this momentum with an expected XI featuring Luis Suarez and Nestory Irankunda leading the line, supported by a midfield anchored by Pedro Lima and Luis Guilherme.
Moreirense arrive in good spirits after back-to-back league victories against Estrela da Amadora and Estoril. Despite the absence of the injured Alexandre Duville-Parsemain, the visitors will rely on Leonardo Vonic and Tiago Andrade to challenge the home defence. While Sporting CP have dominated recent head-to-head meetings, Moreirense have shown resilience on the road and will aim to disrupt the rhythm of the home side.
