Standard Liege - SK Beveren

Standard Liege and SK Beveren face off on 6 November 2026 for matchday 11 of the Belgian Pro League. Standard Liege enters this fixture looking to stabilize their form after a difficult run, having recently drawn 1-1 with Kortrijk and suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat at Genk. Their campaign has been marked by inconsistency, though they did secure a notable 2-0 cup victory over FCV Dender EH in mid-October. Meanwhile, SK Beveren arrives at Stade Maurice Dufrasne following a challenging spell that included a 1-2 loss to Union St.Gilloise and a high-scoring 4-4 draw with Westerlo.

The visitors must navigate this test without the injured Kurt Abrahams, while Standard Liege will be missing both Matthieu Epolo and Casper Nielsen. The expected XI for the hosts features an attacking trio of Dennis Eckert, Andi Zeqiri, and Adnane Abid, while SK Beveren looks to Victor Olatunji to lead their line. History favors the hosts, who claimed a 2-1 victory in their most recent meeting during a cup encounter on 28 October 2025. With both sides eager to climb the table, the tactical battle between these two lineups will likely define the outcome at Stade Maurice Dufrasne.
