Sturm Graz - NK Celje

Forward Oumar Diakite remains the focal point for Sturm Graz as they prepare to host NK Celje at Graz-Liebenau Stadium on 5 November 2026. The home side enters this Europa League matchday 4 encounter looking to regain momentum after a recent series of draws, including a 1-1 stalemate against Wolfsberger AC. While the team has faced defensive challenges, their ability to secure a notable 1-0 victory over Marseille in this competition suggests they can rise to the occasion. With Daniil Khudyakov sidelined due to injury, Ammar Helac is expected to anchor the defense behind a midfield unit tasked with controlling the tempo.

NK Celje arrives following a dominant 4-0 league win over Nafta, demonstrating the attacking threat posed by Benjamin Verbic and Blaz Kramer. Their European campaign has been a test of resilience, highlighted by a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Salzburg. While they have navigated a challenging schedule, the visitors will look to exploit any gaps in the Sturm Graz backline to secure a vital result. The tactical battle in midfield between the expected lineups will likely dictate the outcome of this European clash as both sides push for crucial points.
