Tamworth - Scunthorpe

Tamworth and Scunthorpe United face off at The Lamb Ground on 27 October 2026 for matchday 15 of the National League. Tamworth arrive following a difficult spell, highlighted by a narrow defeat to Barrow and a recent cup exit against Carlisle United, though they did secure a hard-fought victory over Hartlepool United earlier in October. Meanwhile, Scunthorpe United have experienced a turbulent run, struggling for consistency after a heavy loss at Barrow and a recent 3-2 defeat to Woking, despite showing glimpses of quality in their cup win over Boston United.

The two clubs share a competitive history in the National League, with Scunthorpe United claiming a 3-1 victory in their most recent encounter on 6 December 2025. As both sides look to stabilise their form and climb the table, the pressure is on to find a clinical edge in this pivotal mid-season clash.
