Trabzonspor - Heart of Midlothian

Thursday, 22 October 2026, marks the second matchday of the Conference League as Trabzonspor host Heart of Midlothian at Papara Park. Both sides enter this European encounter looking to establish momentum in the league phase, though they arrive in contrasting states of confidence following their most recent domestic outings.

Trabzonspor have enjoyed a productive run, highlighted by a 2-0 victory over Besiktas and a 4-2 success against KuPS in their opening Conference League fixture. In contrast, Heart of Midlothian face a challenging task to reset after a heavy defeat to Celtic in the Premiership. While the visitors secured a 1-1 draw against FC Nordsjaelland in their previous European outing, they will need to tighten their defensive structure to contain a home side that has demonstrated clinical finishing in recent weeks.
