Worthing - Southend

Worthing forward Ollie Pearce remains a central figure as his side prepares to host Southend United on 27 October 2026 for matchday 15 of the National League. The hosts enter the contest at Woodside Road in resilient form, having recently secured a 2-1 victory over Kidderminster Harriers to bounce back from a disappointing cup exit. Their attacking output has been a consistent feature of their league campaign, highlighted by a dominant 5-0 win against Solihull Moors earlier this month, proving they possess the clinical edge required to dismantle organized defensive setups.

Southend United arrive looking to regain momentum after a 2-2 draw with FC Halifax Town. While they showcased their scoring potential with a 6-1 rout of Gateshead FC in September, their recent form has been inconsistent, including a setback against Berkhamsted in the FA Cup. This clash will likely hinge on whether the visitors can tighten their structure to contain Worthing’s fluid movement, as both sides look to solidify their standing in the league table.
