Bayer Leverkusen - VfB Stuttgart

Saturday afternoon at the BayArena, Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart meet for their matchday 8 encounter in the Bundesliga. Both sides arrive looking to find consistency after recent league struggles, with Leverkusen aiming to bounce back from a defeat against Hoffenheim and Stuttgart seeking to rectify a narrow loss to Borussia Moenchengladbach. The hosts will be without Moussa Diaby, while the visitors must navigate this fixture missing both Angelo Stiller and Josha Vagnoman due to injury.

Leverkusen enter the match following a high-scoring cup victory against Nuernberg, having previously shown their attacking quality in a 4-3 win over Mainz 05. Stuttgart, meanwhile, secured a narrow cup win against Paderborn but have found league points harder to come by lately. With the expected XI featuring Patrik Schick leading the line for the hosts and Ermedin Demirovic spearheading the Stuttgart attack, the tactical battle for midfield control will be decisive.
