Bochum - Arminia Bielefeld

Sunday afternoon at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion, Bochum host Arminia Bielefeld for a matchday 7 encounter in the 2. Bundesliga. Both sides arrive looking to find consistency in a competitive early-season landscape, with the hosts aiming to bounce back from a narrow defeat to Hannover 96 in their most recent outing. Bochum will have to navigate this fixture without the services of Oliver Olsen and Enis Cokaj, both of whom remain sidelined with injuries.

Arminia Bielefeld arrive in search of a defensive breakthrough, having conceded twice in a draw against FC Heidenheim last time out. Their recent form has been testing, including a heavy defeat at Nuernberg, though they have shown resilience in cup and league draws. With Philipp Hofmann expected to lead the line for the hosts and David Min spearheading the visitors, the tactical battle in midfield will likely dictate the rhythm of this contest.
