Lincoln City - Burnley
Last updated: Today, at Lincoln City host Burnley in Championship matchday 12
Saturday 24 October 2026 at LNER Stadium, Lincoln City welcome Burnley for matchday 12 of the Championship. The hosts face a challenging period, having endured a difficult run that includes a heavy 6-0 loss to West Ham United and a 3-0 defeat at Sheffield United, though they did manage a 2-2 draw against Millwall in their most recent outing. Lincoln City will be forced to adjust their setup due to the suspensions of Deji Elerewe and Freddie Draper, with the expected XI featuring Robert Street and Reeco Hackett in attack.
Burnley arrive looking for consistency after a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers and a 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic. The visitors must navigate this contest without the injured Anel Ahmedhodzic and Zeki Amdouni, relying on the experience of Jamie Vardy and Kyle Walker to provide stability. The sides last met in the FA Cup on 18 February 2017, where Lincoln City secured a narrow victory.
