Crystal Palace vs Ipswich Town - Premier League Betting Tips (12/09/2026)

Betting Tip:

Ipswich to win the match @ 4.00 - bet365

Ipswich Town started the season with a win before suffering losses to Man United and Liverpool. They have been playing well despite those defeats and will be better judged on how they get against this level of opponent. They managed more shots than Liverpool in their previous clash and their price seems too big for this contest.

Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town have had a similar start to the new Premier League season with one win from three matches. Hosts Palace are favourites at 1.83 with bet365, with Ipswich available at 4.00. The draw can be backed at 3.40.

We believe that Ipswich Town are the value bet to get the win in this one. Their opening day win against Sunderland was really good and they have recruited well over the summer, especially in attacking areas. This game will offer a clearer indication of their survival chances this season compared to difficult games against Man United and Liverpool.

Reasons to Follow this Bet

  • Ipswich managed more shots than Liverpool despite falling to defeat in their last match.

  • Ipswich have looked the better team so far this season and can get the win if taking their chances.

  • Palace lost key players over the summer and have struggled at times and look vulnerable.

Crystal Palace vs Ipswich Town - Team News

Palace lost Max Lacroix and Daniel Munoz this summer and swapped Brennan Johnson for Dwight McNeil. Takehiro Tomiyasu was replaced by Axel Disasi against Fulham with Palace still without Chadi Riad due to a serious knee injury. Tyrick Mitchell netted twice against Fulham and should keep his place ahead of match-winner Ben Chilwell. Quinten Timber could again be preferred to Sander Berge and Will Hughes in central midfield.

Ipswich are unlikely to make too many changes. They are still without Jaden Philogene (ankle) and Jack Taylor (knee) but new arrival Zian Flemming may be handed his first start in place of Emersonn. Exequiel Palacios came in for Marcelino Núñez against Liverpool and may start again here.
