France vs Spain - World Cup Semi-Final Betting Tips (14/07/2026)

Betting Tip:

France to Win the Match @ 2.30 - bet365

France look the strongest team in this tournament and have the attacking talent to book a place in the World Cup final. Spain have improved as the competition has progressed but haven't quite reached the same level. They may well dominate the ball at times but the attacking options in the final third could be crucial for France to go through.

Pre-tournament favourites France are looking to secure a place in the final of World Cup 2026 when they meet Spain in the semi-final. France are the favourites at 2.30 with bet365, while Spain can be backed at 3.25, which is also the price of the draw.

We expect a close game once again but for France to come out on top. They have been the most impressive side at this tournament and have the attacking talent to make the difference in a close game. They may have to suffer without the ball for longer spells than they are used to but in Mbappé and Olise they have players with a direct style that can hurt Spain when they lose the ball.

Reasons to Follow this Bet

  • France (16) have scored five more goals than Spain across the tournament so far. Only Argentina are ahead of them with one more.

  • France have more in-form goalscorers in Mbappé (8), and Dembélé (5). Spain's top scorer is Mikel Oyarzabal (4) with Mikel Merino contributing two late strikes from the bench.

  • The recent head-to-head record doesn't favour either side with two draws and seven wins each in the last 16 meetings. Recent tournament form could prove more telling.

France vs Spain - Team News

France have plenty of options to pick from ahead of this clash. Manu Koné has featured in the last two matches in central midfield next to Adrien Rabiot. He is likely to keep his place ahead of Aurélien Tchouaméni. The only other place that looks up for grabs is the left wing where PSG team-mates Bradley Barcola and Désiré Doué have alternated. Doué had a good impact from the bench in the Last 16 and provided an assist against Morocco, which should be enough for him to start once again.

Spain also have a settled side and no major injury issues ahead of this contest. Nico Williams and Yeremy Pino are both fit again and are pushing for a place on the left flank ahead of Álex Baena. Spain played Fabián Ruiz next to Rodri in midfield against Morocco and his performance should be enough to hold off the challenge of Pedri and Mikel Marino.

France vs Spain Line-ups
